About me
I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist, children’s counsellor, and clinical hypnotherapist, working with adults, children, and young people. I have over nine years’ experience supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties and offer a warm, calm, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore challenges at their own pace.

I work from an integrative, trauma-informed approach, adapting my therapeutic style to suit each client’s individual needs, age, neurodiversity, and circumstances rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I draw from person-centred therapy, trauma-focused approaches, emotional regulation strategies, psychoeducation, and clinical hypnotherapy where appropriate, ensuring therapy remains flexible, responsive, and ethically grounded.

I work therapeutically with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Alongside this, I have extensive experience supporting children and young people, including those who are neurodivergent, with emotional regulation, anxiety, attachment difficulties, behavioural challenges, and the emotional impact of family change.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist delivering remote therapy to adults across the UK, supporting clients via video, telephone, and secure messaging platforms. I am experienced in managing complex caseloads, maintaining clear professional boundaries, and working safely with risk, always prioritising client wellbeing.

I have a strong background in children and adolescent counselling, having worked within infant and junior school settings supporting children aged 5–16. My work with children is developmentally informed and may include play, creativity, grounding techniques, and age-appropriate emotional regulation strategies, particularly when verbal expression feels difficult. I work collaboratively with parents and carers where appropriate, while maintaining clear confidentiality and safeguarding boundaries.

Alongside my clinical training, I have a background in early years childcare, having previously worked in nursery settings and as a nanny. This experience underpins my strong understanding of child development, attachment, behaviour, emotional expression, and neurodiversity, and supports my child-centred, attachment-aware approach.

I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, supporting adults and young people with issues such as anxiety, sleep difficulties, phobias, confidence, and habit change. Hypnotherapy is always offered collaboratively and used only where it is clinically appropriate and agreed with the client.
