About me
PG dip Gestalt Psychotherapy (UKCP reg.) MA Dramatherapy (HCPC reg.) Creative Arts Supervisor (CAST). Holds professional liability insurance and is DBS checked.
I qualified as a dramatherapist in 2000, and Gestalt Psychotherapist in 2014. I have since worked in private practice and institutions including Cardiff Prison, schools and for the NHS.  I place great importance on safety, both physical and emotional. Using clear
boundaries, combined with warmth and integrity, I encourage people to value themselves and use their resources. I place emphasis on meeting people where they are, and working with what people choose to bring. I can include body-work, play and other creative media in our work together.
I am committed to equality of opportunity for people of all abilities, races, faiths, genders, sexual orientations, and ages.

What I offer:
Individual Gestalt psychotherapy for adults I work at the Well-being Centre Chepstow with adults. Cost: £50 per hourly session.
The first session will be a chance for you to tell me about yourself and for me to share with you how I work.
Group supervision
I have developed a unique method of combining Playback Theatre with Creative Arts Supervision and Gestalt Psychotherapy. I am currently running these groups as day-long workshops.
Training and CPD events
I have initiated and developed professional training workshops in South Wales for the past sixteen years. I co-facilitate CPD events on themes such as Belonging, Attachment, Connecting and Disconnecting, Narcissism, and Soul.  I co-facilitate workshops on Shame alongside Martin Capps. Our initial w/s is entitled, ‘The Secret Agent of Shame: Shame in the Therapeutic Relationship.’ We
have developed a series of follow up sessions, including Shame and culture, Shame and Belonging, Shame and Death.
I teach on the Gestalt Psychotherapy PGdip at Gestalt Centre Wales, directed by Anne Pettit. This training emphasises experiential learning and the dialogic approach.
I am a tutor on the Welsh Psyche and Soma training – a two-year part time course for health professionals working with people who want to bring imagination and the body into their practice, as languages of the human soul.
