About Me
I offer a safe, confidential space where you can feel listened to.
You may want to talk to someone impartial about things you feel you cannot share with friends or family. You may seek a confidential space to explore past experiences that remain unresolved. You may be struggling to move forward and need an opportunity to reflect on your current situation. You may need help on your journey of self development or to take some time for self discovery.
My therapeutic approach is integrative but with a person-centered emphasis. Person-centered counselling is client led, non judgemental, open and genuine where you can explore any issue you wish to bring. My aim is to support you and help you to better understand yourself and your struggles, so that you can move forward.
I have a varied work experience across a range of industries and I bring all the skills from working within these organisational settings. My drive to pursue counselling stemmed from an interest in people. In talking to people, sharing their stories, their highs and lows and being trusted to support them. After my own research and self study I embarked on formal training courses to achieve qualifications accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am part way through my training and a student member of the BACP working within their ethical framework.
Feeling comfortable with your therapist is an important part of the process so I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have or have an initial chat to put you at ease.
All referrals will be assessed by a qualified accredited counsellor before being placed with a trainee counsellor.
