About me
Finding the right therapist can feel daunting. Life brings changes and transitions, difficulties and uncertainty, and even positive change can bring challenges. Talk therapy can help. I offer a welcoming, non-judgemental, and confidential space for you to explore the issues that might be concerning you.
I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist and I work in a relational way, which means I believe that therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative and empowering process. I draw on different theoretical models to support you in navigating your current challenges and identifying opportunities to create the changes you want to make. I have experience in many areas including, bereavement and loss, self-esteem issues, lack of confidence, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, stress, Dementia caregivers, work related issues and self-development. Having lived and worked in the UK and overseas, I have experience in working with individuals who are navigating life transitions, cultural adjustment, and the unique experiences that come with expatriation and repatriation.
I am an ICF trained Coach, offering both life and executive coaching. I understand the challenges that individuals face in both personal and professional contexts. I am passionate about supporting individuals to find meaning and purpose in their lives. Working alongside you, I can support you to cultivate a greater sense of connection to yourself and others.
I am a trained instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs which enables me to use evidence-based practices to help individuals cultivate greater awareness, presence, and self-compassion. My approach is focused on the integration of mindfulness into daily life as a means of reducing stress, promoting well-being, and enhancing resilience.
If you are interested in seeking therapy please get in touch. I offer an initial 15 minute phone call, free of charge, to explore how we might work together and if I am the right therapist for you.
